Brazil-based FinTech Vixtra nets $3m

Vixtra, a Brazil-based trade finance FinTech, has raises $3m in a pre-Series A funding round led by Valor Capital.

According to a report from LatAm List, the round also saw participation from Fontes.

The funding comes after a $10m seed investment of equity and debt.

Founded in 2021, Vixtra is a foreign trade FinTech that operates as a payment method between importers and exporters. The company’s offering allows international suppliers to offer extended payment terms and importers to pay their purchases over time.

The platform also allows importers to release working capital, get confidence and data related to its suppliers, in addition to providing other financial services and visibility of the import processes.

Vixtra said the capital will allows it to accelerate the transaction volume in its payment and credit solution for international trade.

According to Baltieri, the company expects to increase the volume of transactions by 20 times by the first half of 2023 and expand to new markets, keeping very low delinquency levels.

Leonardo Baltieri, co-founder of Vixtra, “Importers in Latin America have a very high working capital requirement, as they cannot get payment terms with their international suppliers. They also need a variety of services to make an international purchase.

“We have transformed the reality of many businesses by offering a complete platform of international trade services and specialised credit for international trade, in a less bureaucratic way.”

Ali, a FinTech that partners with companies to offer financial health solutions for employees, has raised $25min Series A funding.

Founded in 2018, Ali is on a mission to effectively reduce the indebtedness of Brazilians by offering them fair credit. The FinTech personalises credit solutions and facilitates the bureaucratic process to help Brazilians achieve financial health.

For partner companies, Ali offers consigned credit for employees, focused on debt reduction, through the app Economizômetro.
