RegTech firm Flagright has revealed it has established a presence in Singapore as it continues its global expansion.
The company said the move into Singapore is part of the firm’s strategy to provide no-code, centralised AML compliance and fraud prevention solutions for financial institutions worldwide.
Flagright has also appointed Suri T’ang as its APAC sales lead as the company seeks to establish its foothold in the burgeoning region.
According to Flagright, T’ang has a proven track record in driving growth and extensive industry experience. She will lead the firm’s growth efforts in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and the greater APAC region.
The firm said T’ang’s expertise in fostering long-term customer relationships and her deep understanding of APAC market dynamics make her exceptionally qualified to lead its efforts.
Flagright co-founder and CEO Baran Ozkan recently visited Singapore to onboard its new team and lay the groundwork for its newly-established presence.
Flagright said, “As we expand into the Singapore market and the broader APAC region, we remain committed to delivering innovative, adaptable, and cost-effective solutions, empowering our current and prospective customers to effectively address the complexities of financial regulation and security.”
Last week, Flagright entered the US market in what the company described as a ‘significant milestone’ in its journey.
Alongside the expansion, the company appointed Danny Flores as the company’s new US sales lead.
Flagright said that Flores ‘brings a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of driving growth in the financial technology sector’. He has also cultivated strong customer relationships and has a keen understanding of market needs.
