Aviva has appointed Jason Storah as CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance, and Tracy Garrad as CEO of Aviva Canada.
Aviva is a leading player in the insurance sector, recognised globally for its robust insurance solutions and services. With a broad portfolio that caters to various segments, the company has entrenched its position as a trusted name in the industry.
Jason Storah, a seasoned professional with two decades in the industry, has been appointed as the CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance. Tracy Garrad, boasting an illustrious career in financial services, insurance, and healthcare, will be stepping into the role of CEO of Aviva Canada.
Storah has a rich history with Aviva, having previously led Aviva Canada as its CEO. His leadership saw the company grow its Gross Written Premium (GWP) by 34%, clinching the position of the second-largest General Insurer in Canada. He has also held the Chief Distribution Officer role at Aviva.
Tracy Garrad, on the other hand, has had prominent stints as the CEO of AXA’s UK Healthcare business, the CEO of HSBC’s Channel Islands and Isle of Man business, and a four-year tenure as CEO of First Direct Bank. Furthermore, she holds the position of a Non-Executive Director at The London Stock Exchange Group plc.
Following these appointments, Adam Winslow, the previous CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance, will be leaving the company to explore new opportunities outside of Aviva.
