d1g1t, the institutional-grade wealth management platform catering to Financial Advisors, RIAs, and Multi-Family Offices, has successfully concluded a combined equity and venture debt financing round.
The equity portion of this investment was spearheaded by U.S.-based MissionOG. The round witnessed robust participation from a mix of existing investors including CI Financial, NA Ventures – National Bank of Canada’s venture arm, Illuminate Financial which operates across the U.S. and UK, and Purpose Financial, in addition to numerous angel investors.
Furthermore, FigTree Financial, an esteemed multi-family office and an existing d1g1t client, made its debut as a new investor in this round. Overseeing the venture debt facility was CIBC Innovation Banking, the tech-focused division of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
This funding follows in the wake of d1g1t’s impressive growth trajectory. In just a brief period, the platform has expanded its service offering to thousands of advisors at leading wealth management institutions and multi-family offices spread across Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean.
These entities collectively manage a staggering $200bn in assets. In the past year alone, the WealthTech giant d1g1t has been adorned with numerous accolades such as Deloitte’s Fast 50, the title of the Best Enterprise Wealth Management Platform at the 2023 Fintech Awards, and a place in the WealthTech 100 list of the globe’s most groundbreaking WealthTech entities. The newly-acquired funds are earmarked to bolster d1g1t’s swift U.S. expansion, scale its operations, and enhance its research and development efforts to augment platform features and foster product innovation.
d1g1t’s co-Founder and CEO Dr. Dan Rosen said, “We are excited to close this investment round with the support of an amazing group of leading FinTech investors and strategic partners, which will continue fueling our steady and sustainable growth”. He further commented on the platform’s unique offering and its future prospects in enabling wealth management entities.
Adding to the enthusiasm, Andy Newcomb, Managing Partner at MissionOG and d1g1t board member, expressed his views on d1g1t’s distinctive product and its potential in the current market landscape. Other notable mentions include Rob Rosen from CIBC Innovation Banking and Danny Farmer, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of FigTree Financial, both of whom shared their optimism and insights into d1g1t’s transformative capabilities in the wealth management sector.
