Novatus Global has announced the addition of Nick Baker, co-founder of Alpha FMC, to its senior leadership as the new Chairman.

Nick Baker, with a staggering 25 years in global strategic consulting and FinTech, has carved a niche for himself, especially with his co-founding role at Alpha Financial Markets Consulting (Alpha FMC). Having served 15 years there, first as an executive director and later as a senior adviser, Nick was instrumental in guiding the company’s journey from its humble beginnings to its eventual IPO on the London AIM in 2017.
Over the years, Nick’s expertise has spread across multiple FinTech endeavours. His previous roles include CEO of Alpha FMC’s software division (now Aiviq), senior adviser at Catelas Inc, and a non-executive director position at Dragonfly. Further enriching his portfolio, he chairs entities like Amplify Trading, White Marble Consulting, and MAIA Technology, demonstrating a vast spectrum of roles across finance, marketing, and software domains.
The decision to bring Nick onboard underscores Novatus’ dedication to scaling up and enhancing its global footprint. This strategic move comes on the heels of a 2022 investment by Maven Capital Partners, a step aimed at bolstering Novatus Global’s growth in both its tech and advisory spheres.
