The Virginia-based insurer appointed Bonnie Brazzell to the role, hoping that her vast expertise in the worksite/voluntary products industry will bolster the company’s position in the sector.

Brazzell brings an extensive background to 5Star Life, her wealth of experience, particularly from her tenure at Eastbridge Consulting Group and Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company, encompasses strategic planning, market analyses, and research initiatives. Her notable contributions earned her a place in the Worksite Marketing Hall of Fame in 2015.

She also held pivotal roles during her 25-year tenure at Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company. Her extensive experience spans underwriting, product development, market expansion, and customer marketing. She is a respected figure within the industry, frequently sought after as a speaker at various industry events and a contributor to esteemed publications.

5Star Life is the primary underwriter of the Armed Forces Benefit Association (AFBA) member policies. The firm, which operates in 49 states, serves a diverse clientele as an insurance provider to individuals and organisations and as a trusted advisor to brokers.
