This recognition underscores Ushur’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security management, particularly crucial for clients in regulated sectors like financial services, insurance, and healthcare, as well as the firm’s dedication to safeguarding sensitive information, including protected health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII).
To receive the recognition, the InsurTech was had to undergo an exhaustive audit process, an independent third-party agency and certification body awarded the accreditation.
In obtaining the ISO 27001 certification, Ushur demonstrated a well-documented, systematic, and highly secure method for handling sensitive information related to the company and its customers.
This certification specifically covers Ushur’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), which oversees and safeguards various critical elements such as intellectual property, employee and customer data, financial information, and data from third parties
