Arch Insurance North America has announced the appointment of Prabhu Venkataraman as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
This key addition to their leadership team is aimed at enhancing technology implementation and services, focusing on strategic alignment, data enablement, and business empowerment.
In his new role, Venkataraman will be tasked with leading technology initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, and empowering the business.
He will report directly to Prashant Nema, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Arch Capital Services LLC, and Brian First, President of Arch Insurance North America.
He joins Arch from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he held the position of Senior Vice President, Enterprise Applications and Architecture. With over two decades of industry experience, he brings a wealth of specialised expertise to Arch, having led complex technology transformations and implementations at scale in various leadership roles throughout his career.
It is hoped that his expertise which has been forged at these roles, can become a critical asset to Arch’s ongoing business technology transformation strategy.
