Chubb, a global insurance leader, has appointed Seth Gillston as Executive Vice President, Head of North America Industry Practices.
In this strategic role, Gillston will spearhead Chubb’s industry-focused initiatives, overseeing coordinated underwriting, risk engineering, and claims services tailored to specific sectors across diverse market segments.
He will continue to serve as Private Equity Industry Practice Leader. He will be based in New York City and report to John Lupica, Vice Chairman, Chubb Group and President, North America Insurance.

With 28 years of industry experience, Gillston has been a pivotal figure at Chubb since joining in 2000. With a background in risk management and economics from Temple University, Gillston has previously held leadership roles in M&A and Private Equity, Global Casualty, Real Estate & Hospitality Practice, and the Alternative Risk Solutions group.
Chubb, a world-renowned insurance provider operating in 54 countries, offers a range of insurance services, including property and casualty, personal accident, supplemental health, reinsurance, and life insurance.
The North America Industry Practices at Chubb cover a spectrum of sectors, including Energy, Real Estate & Hospitality, Construction, Life Sciences, Financial Institutions, Transportation, Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, and Private Equity.
Gillston’s role involves collaborating with each Industry Practice Leader to align market segments, strengthen business lines, and elevate Chubb’s comprehensive insurance solutions.
