Nuvei Corporation and Cash App have forged a strategic partnership, combining forces to redefine online payment experiences.

The collaboration aims to integrate Cash App Pay into Nuvei’s online checkout processes for partners in the U.S. This initiative is driven by the desire to offer a simple and intuitive payment experience, catering to diverse customer preferences.

Cash App Pay’s seamless integration into Nuvei’s online checkouts serves multiple purposes. It not only encourages customers to return for repeat purchases but also targets younger demographics, providing them with a convenient payment avenue.

Diversifying away from traditional card payments, the partnership aims to enhance overall payment acceptance rates, optimise costs, and boost revenue acceleration.

This announcement aligns with Nuvei’s ongoing efforts to build an industry-leading portfolio of alternative payment methods (APMs). The company’s agile and customisable platform empowers businesses to tailor online checkouts with relevant APMs, enhancing the payment experience in various markets.

Philip Fayer, Nuvei Chair and CEO, commented on the announcement: “Cash App Pay is being rapidly adopted as a payment method in the U.S., especially with younger consumer demographics. Our mission is to support our partners to engage with their customers, wherever they are and however they want to pay. This partnership enables businesses to integrate Cash App Pay into their online payments experience effortlessly, attracting new customers and accelerating revenue growth in the process.”

The move follows more recent partnership news from Nuvei. The firm initiated a partnership with Familiprix last month, to introduce an innovative eCommerce app, enabling affiliated pharmacists to accept online payments.

The primary goal of this collaboration is to empower Familiprix’s network of over 400 independent pharmacies, located across Quebec and New Brunswick, to venture into eCommerce.
