Nuvei Corporation, a Canadian FinTech firm, has initiated a partnership with Familiprix, to introduce an innovative eCommerce app, enabling affiliated pharmacists to accept online payments.

The primary goal of this collaboration is to empower Familiprix’s network of over 400 independent pharmacies, located across Quebec and New Brunswick, to venture into eCommerce.

This strategic move allows these pharmacies to embrace digital commerce, offering customers the convenience of online purchases with options for at-home delivery or in-store pick-up, thus amplifying customer satisfaction and expanding market reach.

In turn it is hoped that this will optimise payment operations for pharmacists, elevate acceptance rates, and ensure a secure and seamless checkout experience for eCommerce customers.

The partnership also extends beyond facilitating online payments; Nuvei is also aiding Familiprix in streamlining the onboarding process for new pharmacies joining their network. This includes comprehensive support via Familiprix’s Control Panel Master Account, enabling efficient management of individual stores, and simultaneous access to Nuvei’s Control Panel PayLink solution by pharmacy agents.

Nuvei Corporation, operating globally, specialises in advanced payment solutions, facilitating credit card payments and alternative payment methods. Familiprix, a revered pharmacy network, serves local communities across Quebec and New Brunswick, offering a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical and health-related products.

Philip Fayer, Nuvei Chair and CEO, commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Familiprix to support its digital transformation journey. Our solutions and expertise will enable Familiprix to move seamlessly into the digital commerce space and accelerate its revenue growth through winning new customers and optimizing payments. As a global payments company with a deep Canadian heritage, we are proud to be working with such a strong Canadian brand that is depended upon by so many Quebec and New Brunswick citizens.”
