Duetti, a music financing platform, has successfully closed a new funding round amounting to $90m.
This latest injection of capital comprises $15m in new equity, led by Nyca Partners, with participation from Viola Ventures, Duetti’s lead seed equity investor, and Cohen Circle. Additionally, a $75m credit facility has been provided by Northleaf Capital Partners, marking a significant step forward in Duetti’s mission to acquire catalog tracks at scale and reinforcing the positive long-term financial outlook of the independent music market.
At its core, Duetti is dedicated to transforming the music industry by offering new, savvy ways for independent artists to approach their careers. The platform provides a unique opportunity for artists to unlock immediate cash flow by selling master catalogs, individual tracks, or parts thereof. This opportunity, previously accessible only to a select group of A-list artists, is now available to a wider range of talent, thanks to Duetti’s innovative approach.
The new funding will be utilized to support accelerated growth in Duetti’s catalog acquisitions, further development of proprietary advanced prediction and analytics technology, and expansion of unique catalog marketing capabilities. To accommodate its expanding team, Duetti has recently opened offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
Duetti’s impact on the music industry is notable, with the company emerging as a trusted ally for over 250 artists across various genres and career stages, including notable names such as Olivia O’Brien, Sevyn Streeter, and Łaszewo. The company’s financial options range from deals starting at $10,000 to transactions reaching up to $2m, highlighting the exponential growth of the independent artist segment in recent years.
