Antler invests over £1m in nine innovative British tech startups

Antler, a prominent zero-day investor, recently announced a substantial investment totalling more than £1m in nine promising British tech startups.

The funding round included investments in eight startups that have graduated from Antler’s latest founder residency programme, according to a report from Tech Funding News. These startups are distinguished not only by their innovative business models but also by their commitment to solving pressing problems within their respective industries. The diversity of the cohort is notable, with women making up 24% of the founders and 27 different nationalities being represented.

The startups backed by Antler are utilising cutting-edge technologies to address urgent demands in various sectors. For instance, Alphaloops is leveraging artificial intelligence to automate investment management operations, and BankBridge aims to bridge the due diligence gaps in financial transactions. Additionally, Capsa AI is developing an AI Operating System tailored for the Private Equity sector, Falco offers an AI-powered platform designed to help financial firms adapt to regulatory changes, and frnt provides digital solutions to optimise retail operations.

In addition to the financial investment, these startups benefit from Antler’s robust support ecosystem which includes mentorship, strategic advice, and access to a global network of industry professionals and fellow entrepreneurs.

Antler General Partner Jed Rose highlighted the unique qualities of the funded startups: “What makes the startups we have backed different is that they combine deep expertise with world-class technology that is addressing urgent and pressing industry demand.”
