Ushur, a leader in AI-powered Customer Experience Automation™ (CXA), has announced that Anthony Smolek has joined its executive leadership team as chief financial officer (CFO).
Known for its innovative use of AI and automation, Ushur is continuing to expand its executive team as part of its growth strategy.

The company’s AI-first solutions are designed to enhance customer interactions and streamline operations, particularly in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, financial services, and the public sector.
With close to $100m raised from investors like Third Point Ventures, 8VC, and Iron Pillar, Ushur is positioned for significant growth.
Smolek brings over 20 years of experience in leadership roles at notable technology companies such as Yahoo, Vevo, and Platform Science.
His extensive background in finance and corporate strategy, along with his experience co-founding an enterprise technology startup, equips him with the expertise to drive Ushur’s financial operations during its expansion phase.
In addition to his roles at Yahoo and Vevo, Smolek began his career in the financial sector at Bear Stearns. His strategic and operational insights have been honed through various leadership positions, making him a valuable addition to Ushur’s executive team.
Smolek’s appointment as CFO comes at a pivotal time for Ushur, as the company experiences exponential growth and increased adoption of its AI-first solutions.
