Chime and Atleos join forces to boost ATM accessibility across the U.S.

Chime has deepened its ties with Atleos Corporation, a key player in enhancing self-service financial access.

Atleos, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, boasts significant influence with the largest independently-owned ATM network and a strong commitment to digital-first financial services.

This partnership aims to improve brand visibility and user convenience by integrating Chime’s branding with Atleos’ Allpoint Network at over 4,000 Walgreens stores nationwide. Since 2021, Atleos has facilitated more than 50,000 fee-free ATMs for Chime members, underscoring a shared commitment to accessible and cost-free banking solutions.

Chime is a pioneering FinTech firm, distinct from traditional banking institutions, with a mission to offer transparent, helpful, and equitable financial services. Chime’s business model avoids consumer fees like overdraft charges, monthly service fees, or minimum balance requirements.

Meanwhile, Atleos, with around 20,000 employees globally, leverages its vast industry knowledge and operational scale to enhance financial institution efficiency, increase retail footfall, and empower consumer-led financial interactions.

Stuart Mackinnon, COO of Atleos, said, “We are delighted to expand our relationship with Chime. It will be easier than ever for Chime cardholders to identify and use fee-free ATMs to access cash.”
