NatWest and Reward strengthen ties with innovative travel reward credit card

NatWest, a major player in the banking sector, has expanded its collaboration with Reward, a global leader in customer engagement and commerce media.

The partnership aims to enhance the travel experience for NatWest’s credit card customers by introducing the new NatWest Travel Reward Credit Card. This initiative seeks to provide added value and convenience for customers, encouraging more travel spending through a rich rewards program.

NatWest operates extensively in the banking and financial services industry, offering a range of products from personal banking to financial planning. Reward, founded in 2001, transforms customer engagement across multiple sectors by integrating advertising, content, and commerce through its advanced cloud-based API platform, focusing on boosting customer loyalty and satisfaction.

The newly launched Travel Reward Credit Card leverages Reward’s robust platform to offer enhanced travel benefits, including 1% rewards on all travel-related expenditures. This card not only caters to frequent travellers but also provides benefits on everyday purchases, aligning with broader consumer spending patterns.

The extended partnership supports Reward’s ambitious goal of redistributing $2bn in customer redemptions by 2025, marking a significant milestone in their commitment to increasing consumer savings and enhancing spending experiences across travel and daily transactions.

Reward managing director UK Sam Sprekos said, “For the past 12 years we have worked closely with NatWest to drive value for customers, particularly during times when a little can mean a lot.

“At Reward, our focus is to make everyday spending more rewarding, launching the NatWest Travel Reward Credit Card aligns with our core mission to give back $2 billion in rewards to customers by 2025. We look forward to working closely with NatWest to elevate travel experiences, rewarding consumers on domestic and overseas travel spend.”

NatWest managing director of short term borrowing Martin Wise said, “We are helping our customers by rewarding them with one percent back on all their travel spend with the launch of our new Travel Reward Credit Card.”
