Cyan AG has joined forces with Wefox Austria, a SaaS platform that caters to insurance brokers, to launch a new cybersecurity and insurance offering.
The collaboration between Cyan AG and Wefox aims to address the growing threat of cyber-attacks in Austria by offering comprehensive protection through their new app, weprotect, according to InsurTech Insights.
The app combines real-time cyber threat detection with insurance coverage to safeguard users against various forms of cybercrime.
It will be available through Wefox directly, as well as via connected brokers and affinity partnerships.
The app is equipped with cybersecurity features developed by Cyan AG, capable of detecting cyber threats in real-time.
Additionally, the app offers protection against phishing attacks and identity theft. Allianz Partners is responsible for providing the cyber insurance coverage that accompanies the app, ensuring users are reimbursed in the event of a cyber incident.
Importantly, the app only functions when paired with an active insurance policy from Allianz Partners. The product is set to launch in September.
