Fuse Fleet launches Australia's first fleet ESG reporting tool with AI

Fuse Fleet, a pioneering Australian insurance provider, has introduced the nation’s first ESG reporting tool tailored for fleets, leveraging advanced AI technology from data analytics firm Greater Than.

This innovative tool enables fleet managers to meticulously track and report on their environmental and social performance, positioning Fuse Fleet at the forefront of connected insurance solutions integrated with claims management.

Simon Donovan, executive general manager, commercial, at Fuse Fleet, highlighted the growing need for reliable data on driver safety and sustainability. “Demand for ESG transparency, action and reporting is in higher demand than ever and it’s critical for fleets to access reliable driver safety and sustainability data.

“We’re proud to be the first in the Australian insurance industry to deliver a seamless ESG solution for fleets, making it easier to track and report on ESG impact from a mobility perspective.”

Originally launched in April 2023 through a collaboration between DKG Insurance Group and Greater Than, Fuse Fleet was conceived to offer a behavior-based insurance solution that rewards safe driving with lower premiums. The expansion into ESG reporting underscores the evolving priorities of fleet operators who are increasingly focused on sustainability.

Johan Forseke, head of APAC at Greater Than, said, “Fuse Fleet is based on data analytics and technological innovation so it’s no surprise to see them become pioneers within the Australian insurance industry in terms of ESG reporting.

“With this new solution, Fuse Fleet takes a leading role in helping companies across the country to lower their carbon footprint and improve driver safety, all while accessing better insurance pricing.”
