Duck Creek Technologies, a global provider of intelligent solutions for property and casualty (P&C) and general insurance, has announced the opening of a second Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Warsaw, Poland.
The new CoE will work alongside its existing centre in India, enhancing Duck Creek’s ability to deliver round-the-clock customer service by leveraging international talent to support clients across the EMEA and APAC regions.
This strategic expansion underlines Duck Creek’s commitment to meeting local demands while increasing its global reach.
Duck Creek Technologies specialises in developing cloud-based solutions for P&C and general insurance, aiming to redefine the industry by offering tools that enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance.
The company’s offerings include an extensive range of software products designed to improve processes such as policy management, billing, and claims handling, allowing insurers to remain agile in a rapidly evolving market.
The Poland CoE aims to be fully operational by year-end, expanding Duck Creek’s recruitment pool to access specialised skills that will support the company’s growth and long-term objectives.
The Warsaw location is strategically positioned to offer “follow-the-sun” support, allowing Duck Creek to align teams closer to EMEA and APAC clients and streamline cross-time-zone collaboration.
The new CoE will provide comprehensive support functions, including technical development, product testing, and customer service, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the EMEA insurance market.
Courtney Townsend, chief people officer of Duck Creek Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion. “We are excited to expand our footprint in Poland, which is a testament to our commitment to harnessing global talent and fostering innovation to support our cloud-based insurance solutions to customers worldwide,” Townsend said. “Our new Centre of Excellence in Poland marks a pivotal milestone in our European expansion and aligns with our goal to streamline operations while continuing to deliver exceptional products and services.”
The Poland CoE will initially employ staff across several core functions, including Engineering, Product, Finance/Accounting, and IT.
This setup will allow Duck Creek to maintain high service standards across regions, drawing from Poland’s skilled workforce to fulfil its operational needs and strengthen customer support.
Duck Creek’s dual-CoE model, spanning Poland and India, is critical to its international strategy.
This structure allows the company to effectively distribute workloads, mitigate risks associated with talent shortages or geopolitical issues, and maintain reliable customer support worldwide, ensuring resilience and continuity in its service delivery.
