Kaizen’s Single Rulebook expands with RegGenome’s AI-driven regulatory data

Kaizen and RegGenome have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the capabilities of Kaizen’s Single Rulebook platform.

The collaboration will utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to significantly expand the platform’s coverage, including new jurisdictions and regulatory domains.

The partnership is designed to support the digitisation of regulation, allowing clients to access a comprehensive array of global regulatory rules, jurisdictions, and taxonomies through the Single Rulebook platform. By integrating Single Rulebook’s advanced user interface with RegGenome’s AI-powered regulatory data, the two firms aim to set a new standard in regulatory intelligence and change management.

Kaizen specializes in providing regulatory compliance solutions to global financial institutions, helping them navigate and manage regulatory change efficiently. The Single Rulebook platform offers robust search and navigational tools, enabling firms to keep pace with the evolving regulatory landscape.

RegGenome, on the other hand, transforms human-readable regulatory information into machine-readable formats. It is part of the Regulatory Genome Project (RGP), a collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. The RGP focuses on creating and maintaining the Cambridge Regulatory Genome (CRG), which serves as a global repository of structured regulatory data.

The partnership will initially focus on expanding coverage to all major global financial markets by early 2025, including US federal regulators and agencies, European national law, and global G20 members. It will also address emerging compliance areas such as cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, and digital operational resilience.

RegGenome CEO Mark Johnston said, “We are delighted to announce our strategic partnership with Kaizen’s Single Rulebook. This collaboration will make RegGenome’s comprehensive structured regulatory data available through Single Rulebook’s innovative platform. By combining our extensive regulatory content with Single Rulebook’s advanced search and analytics capabilities, we’re enabling financial institutions to better navigate the complex regulatory landscape.”

Chris Dingley, CEO of Single Rulebook, added, “We’re excited to announce our partnership with RegGenome today. Working with RegGenome’s AI solution for regulatory data and information means that we will be able to expand the Single Rulebook platform and content rapidly for our clients, continuing and enhancing our efforts to support them with the burden of managing global regulation.”
