N26 partners with BlackRock to launch Ready-Made Funds for accessible investing

We are delighted to work with N26 to bring Ready-Made Funds to their customers. These multi-asset funds are part of a simple investing process that make it easy and affordable to invest. With our global investment expertise, we aim to empower more Europeans to take their first steps into investing with confidence and ease, harnessing the benefits of different asset classes in a few taps.

N26 has launched Ready-Made Funds, a new product designed to simplify investing and reduce barriers for Europeans.

This innovative offering, developed in collaboration with BlackRock, allows customers to invest in diversified portfolios of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and Index Funds through the N26 app. The funds, tailored to different risk appetites, aim to make investing accessible with a low entry point of just €1.

The Ready-Made Funds include three multi-asset portfolios—Mindful, Balanced, and Ambitious—each managed by BlackRock’s investment experts. These funds are diversified across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, providing users with a balanced approach to building long-term wealth. Customers can select a portfolio that aligns with their risk tolerance, offering an easy and cost-effective way to invest.

Data from BlackRock highlights that 33% of non-investors in Europe cite lack of knowledge as a key barrier to investing. Despite this, approximately 11 million first-time investors have entered the market since 2022. Digital platforms like N26 are bridging this gap by offering user-friendly solutions to educate and empower customers. The introduction of Ready-Made Funds further cements N26’s position as a key player in making investing more inclusive and affordable.

N26’s Chief Product Officer, Mayur Kamat, explained: “Investing in the capital markets is an increasingly important way to build wealth over the long term. With Ready-Made Funds, N26 customers can now embark on their investment journey in a couple of taps, backed by the expertise of seasoned professionals.”

This new service is available in multiple European countries, including Germany, Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands, with plans for a gradual rollout starting today. Fees for Ready-Made Funds will be waived for eligible customers until 1 April 2025, after which they will start at 0.29% annually, ensuring affordability for all users.

Timo Toenges, EMEA Head of Digital Wealth at BlackRock, added: “We are delighted to work with N26 to bring Ready-Made Funds to their customers. These multi-asset funds are part of a simple investing process that make it easy and affordable to invest. With our global investment expertise, we aim to empower more Europeans to take their first steps into investing with confidence and ease, harnessing the benefits of different asset classes in a few taps.”
