Orion180, a leader in innovative insurance solutions, has unveiled its new Residential Private Flood Insurance product.

The launch addresses the evolving demands of homeowners and insurance agents seeking more flexible, comprehensive, and customisable flood insurance options.

Orion180 specialises in delivering advanced insurance solutions, particularly in surplus lines homeowner policies. The company integrates modern technology to ensure accurate risk assessments and fair pricing for its customers.

The new Residential Private Flood Insurance product provides homeowners in all flood zones with comprehensive and customisable coverage.

It offers single-family home building coverage up to $1m and boasts a short waiting period of just 10 days, significantly shorter than the 30-day period under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The product is also compatible with all mortgage lenders.

Orion180’s flood insurance surpasses NFIP offerings by providing higher coverage limits and additional features.

It includes coverage for loss of use, replacement costs, debris removal, water backup, sump overflow, swimming pool cleanup, and more. Unlike NFIP, elevation certificates or inspections are often unnecessary, simplifying the purchase process.

Homeowners can purchase the flood insurance as a standalone policy or as an endorsement to Orion180’s surplus lines home insurance. Advanced technology supports risk validation, ensuring precise pricing and comprehensive coverage.

The Orion180 Residential Private Flood Insurance is currently available in ten states, including Alabama, Arizona, and Georgia, with plans to expand to more states in 2025.
