JetBlue and Barclays launch Premier Card with exclusive travel perks

JetBlue, a leading airline known for its customer-focused travel experience, has launched the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard® in partnership with Barclays US Consumer Bank.

This new premium credit card is designed to offer high-value benefits to frequent flyers and everyday spenders, enhancing the overall JetBlue travel experience, according to FF News.

The launch aims to provide elite benefits, including complimentary lounge access and priority boarding, to customers who want to maximise their travel rewards.

The partnership further strengthens JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty programme while expanding Barclays’ portfolio of premium travel credit cards.

JetBlue is a well-known airline focused on delivering a high-quality travel experience through affordable fares, comfortable seating, and excellent service. Its TrueBlue loyalty programme rewards customers with points that can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and other benefits. Barclays US Consumer Bank, a division of Barclays Bank, specialises in co-branded credit cards, offering financial solutions in collaboration with leading travel and retail brands.

Customers can now apply for the JetBlue Premier Card and take advantage of a limited-time welcome offer: 70,000 TrueBlue points and five tiles toward Mosaic qualification after spending $5,000 within the first three months. This provides cardholders with a fast track to Mosaic status, which includes benefits such as EvenMore® upgrades and additional free checked bags.

The JetBlue Premier Card has an annual fee of $499, with an additional $150 per authorised user. It includes extensive travel perks such as complimentary access to JetBlue lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 (launching in late 2025) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal C. Cardmembers will also gain access to over 1,500 Priority Pass™ lounges worldwide, along with lifestyle benefits such as Global Entry or TSA PreCheck® fee credits, priority boarding on JetBlue-operated flights, and annual statement credits of up to $300 for Paisly® travel purchases.

Beyond travel perks, cardholders can earn rewards quickly with the Premier Card’s points system. Members receive 6x points per $1 spent on eligible JetBlue and Paisly purchases, 2x points at restaurants and grocery stores, and 1x points on all other purchases. The card also offers 5,000 bonus points each year after the account anniversary, along with a 10% points redemption bonus when booking JetBlue Award Flights.

Chris Buckner, JetBlue’s vice president of loyalty and partnerships, said, “Adding products and perks our customers want is a key part of our JetForward plan, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce the JetBlue Premier Card. As our first-ever premium credit card, designed with input from our customers and most loyal Mosaic members, it builds on the perks of our TrueBlue and Mosaic programs to deliver more benefits both on the ground and in the air. With features crafted to compete with other top-tier travel cards, the Premier Card gives JetBlue fans more reasons to love our award-winning experience, while earning extra points and enjoying exclusive benefits before takeoff.”

Tim Mills, head of JetBlue Partnership at Barclays US Consumer Bank, added, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new JetBlue Premier Card, marking a significant milestone in our successful decade-long partnership with JetBlue. With this new card, we are excited to meet the growing demand for premium benefits and experiences, continuing our commitment to deliver exceptional value and service to JetBlue’s loyal customers.”

Cardholders will also benefit from World Elite Mastercard services, which include 24/7 concierge service, travel assistance, trip cancellation and interruption coverage, and exclusive lifestyle savings.

These features aim to provide additional security and convenience to travellers and everyday spenders alike.
