Devexperts, a global software provider for capital markets, has introduced a new futures trading platform designed for US brokers.
The turnkey solution enables brokers to expand into futures and options on futures trading with immediate deployment or customisation based on their requirements.
With a development team of over 800 professionals worldwide, Devexperts’ latest launch responds to growing demand for futures trading solutions. The platform aligns with the increasing interest in derivatives trading, particularly in the US, where regulatory conditions make futures a favourable financial instrument.
Ben Hurley, CEO of Devexperts, highlighted the relevance of the launch, saying, “A number of international market factors mean we are seeing ongoing interest in futures trading worldwide. This is particularly the case in the US, however, where the regulatory environment can make derivatives, such as futures, particularly appealing.”
Devexperts brings over two decades of experience in financial software development, serving clients from start-ups to major financial institutions. The new platform grants brokers access to futures and options trading on major exchanges like CME and ICE. It is integrated with futures commission merchants and includes advanced functionalities such as DOM ladder trading with one-click order execution, ensuring an intuitive trading experience.
The platform is equipped with a real-time order management system (OMS), featuring automated calculations of SPAN margin requirements and pre-trade validation to ensure sufficient margin coverage. It also offers a post-trade monitoring function that automatically liquidates positions in response to market fluctuations, while allowing brokers to set intraday margin discounts and risk-adjusted liquidation levels. Furthermore, the system integrates seamlessly with executing destinations such as CQG and StoneX.
For traders, the platform provides default integration with dxFeed, Devexperts’ proprietary market data service, offering real-time Level 1 and Level 2 quotes from CME, ICE, and other US futures exchanges. Additional features include automatic alerts, a heatmap tool, and built-in option strategies. The platform is available as a white-labeled web browser solution, as well as in iOS and Android mobile trading app formats.
Beyond the platform itself, Devexperts provides comprehensive software development and consultancy services for financial firms and exchanges. The company’s solutions encompass multi-asset trading platforms, matching engines, and exchange technology. A dedicated Devexperts account manager will offer ongoing customer support, and the platform is built for scalability, allowing for the addition of more asset classes to meet brokers’ evolving needs.
Hurley added, “We try to anticipate our clients’, and the wider markets’, needs. We have been developing this platform for some time and are now able to provide our customers with the software they need to meet the demand they are seeing from within the market. Timing-wise, this is a good time to launch our futures trading platform and we look forward to working with both current and prospective clients on their deployment or upgrading of their futures trading capabilities.”
