Taulia, a leading provider of working capital management solutions and part of SAP Group, has announced a partnership with Lloyds, the UK’s largest retail and commercial financial services provider and part of Lloyds Banking Group.

Together, they will introduce Visa-enabled Virtual Cards embedded across various solutions available in the SAP Business Suite.

The partnership will enable Lloyds to extend credit to businesses that have purchased Taulia’s Virtual Cards solution.

This will allow companies to issue Virtual Cards to suppliers worldwide, facilitating seamless and efficient B2B payment processes.

By combining Taulia’s scalable technology with Lloyds’ market reach, the collaboration aims to deliver an innovative, embedded payment solution tailored to UK businesses.

Embedded finance technology is transforming the way businesses integrate financial services into their operations, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.

Through this partnership, Taulia is leveraging Visa’s APIs to incorporate virtual payment credentials, acceptance solutions, and supplier enablement services directly into enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. This seamless integration ensures that businesses can manage payments more effectively within their existing systems.

Virtual Cards offer a range of benefits to businesses, including improved supplier relationships, reduced fraud risk, and enhanced cash flow management. By simplifying the payment process, Virtual Cards create a user-friendly experience that optimises working capital and positions businesses for future growth.

Danielle Weinblatt, chief product officer, Taulia, said, “Embedding virtual cards directly within the ERP landscape and having Lloyds as an issuing partner is a game-changer for corporate payments. This collaboration redefines how businesses manage spend, bringing greater control, automation, and working capital optimization directly into their existing workflows. By seamlessly integrating virtual cards into enterprise systems, we are not only streamlining payments but also empowering companies to unlock liquidity, enhance cash flow intelligence, and modernize their financial operations—driving smarter, more agile growth in an evolving global economy.”

We are thrilled about our partnership with Taulia as it enables truly embedded B2B payments processes in the SAP technology eco-system, making it easy for clients to adopt virtual payments and realise their strategic objectives.”

Lucy Demery, SVP, head of Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Europe, said, “Visa’s mission is to be the best way to pay and be paid, and embedded finance is a strategic opportunity for us to continue to dream, design and build the future of payments. Visa can help drive transformative change through embedded finance in commercial payments and this is a fantastic example of bringing this to life, with two exceptional partners.”
