Trustfull introduces Login Solution to curb rising account takeover fraud

April 2, 2025
Trustfull

Trustfull, a leader in identity intelligence for fraud prevention, today announced the launch of its new Login Solution.

This innovative tool is designed to address the burgeoning issue of account takeover (ATO) fraud, which has seen a 24% year-on-year increase in 2024, culminating in nearly $13bn in annual losses. ATO attacks, where cybercriminals gain unauthorized access to user accounts to steal payment details, funds, and digital identities, are exacerbated by data breaches, advanced social engineering, and the use of generative AI.

The new product from Trustfull is aimed at enhancing security protocols to thwart these ATO incidents effectively. By analyzing hundreds of behavioral and device-related signals, the Login Solution ensures robust protection against fraudulent access while maintaining a seamless experience for legitimate users.

Trustfull specializes in leveraging open source intelligence (OSINT) to fortify digital security across various sectors. The company’s approach integrates extensive data analysis with advanced technology to offer comprehensive fraud prevention solutions.

The Login Solution functions by capturing a snapshot of the user’s behavioral patterns and device characteristics during the initial login enrollment phase. For every subsequent login attempt, the system compares the new data with the original profile to verify authenticity. This method facilitates instant, silent verification for genuine users and triggers additional security measures for suspicious activities.

Moreover, the Login Solution is equipped with a customizable rule engine that adapts to each client’s specific needs, refining its risk-scoring model continually to mirror legitimate user behavior. A centralized dashboard allows for detailed visibility into authentication activities, supporting real-time decision-making and preemptive threat detection.

Francesco Panina, Trustfull’s chief technology officer, highlighted the technical advancements of the solution: “Open Source Intelligence is the guiding principle behind all Trustfull products and solutions. To strengthen ATO protection, we have developed a lightweight JavaScript SDK that combines OSINT data on returning users’ device, browser, and IP information with unique behavioral signals, like keystroke dynamics and mouse movements. The result is a truly dynamic authentication layer that can detect account takeover attempts before it’s too late.”

The new Login Solution is readily available for fast integration, offering a streamlined and scalable architecture that allows businesses of any size to adopt advanced authentication technologies effortlessly and without disruption.
