Tietoevry has expanded its collaboration with knowledge work automation leader M-Files, becoming an official partner to distribute its solutions in Norway.
This strategic move will equip Norwegian businesses—particularly those in the energy sector—with powerful tools to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and manage documents more efficiently using automation and AI.
Through this partnership, Tietoevry will now independently deliver and sell M-Files’ technology to its Norwegian clients. The collaboration aims to address the growing need for intelligent information management by combining Tietoevry’s strong local presence and industry expertise with M-Files’ advanced, metadata-driven automation platform. The initiative will initially launch in Norway, with plans to extend across other Tietoevry regions.
M-Files chief revenue officer Matt Mariott said, “We are pleased to welcome Tietoevry as a full-scale M-Files partner. Together we will be a major player in the Norwegian market, helping customers in their digitalization journey, embracing the advantages of revolutionizing the way knowledge workers automate their processes from document creation and management to workflow automation, external collaboration, enterprise search, security, compliance, and audit trail. Together we can help organizations across Norway unlock the value of knowledge work with automation and AI.”
The M-Files platform enhances workplace efficiency by automating a wide range of knowledge work activities, from content creation to compliance tracking. Its metadata-first architecture integrates enterprise information across systems, enabling users to securely access and manage data wherever it resides. The platform also supports workflow automation and collaboration, improving operational agility.
Tietoevry head of content management Alfred Johnsen said, “We have already been working closely together with M-Files for the last two years and are very happy to now take our collaboration to the next level by becoming an official partner. This will provide several benefits both for new and existing customers and give our collaboration a boost.”
Tietoevry clients will also benefit from access to M-Files Aino, a generative AI assistant that provides real-time support for data analysis and complex queries. Aino is designed to help users extract critical insights more quickly, thus enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the enterprise.
M-Files regional vice president sales Nordics Heli Järventie said, “We are excited to welcome Tietoevry as a strategic partner. As an experienced and trusted innovator in the field, Tietoevry is a great addition to our partner ecosystem. Our partnership will help us extend our reach in Norway, bringing best-in-class knowledge work automation solutions to more organisations in Norway. Together, we will empower customers to advance their digital transformation journeys by automating the entire information lifecycle.”
