GOAT Insurance acquires IGG Insurance to expand UK commercial insurance

GOAT Insurance has acquired IGG Insurance’s entire book of business as part of its strategy to expand in the UK commercial insurance market.

GOAT Insurance has acquired IGG Insurance’s entire book of business as part of its strategy to expand in the UK commercial insurance market.

The deal brings IGG’s clients and managing director Adam Watts’ team under GOAT’s management, according to Insurance Digital.

GOAT is also investing in new AI-driven technology systems to improve client service delivery. The company plans further acquisitions to grow its presence across the UK.

Phil Hayes, co-owner and director of GOAT Insurance, said, “Along with my fellow investors, we’ve waited patiently to find the perfect fit to enhance our business model.”

Hayes added, “Adam and his team bring experience and energy perfectly aligned to our future plans for growth and innovation.”
