Akur8, an InsurTech firm delivering AI-driven pricing and reserving solutions, has named Dino Draghi as head of Brazil.
Based in São Paulo, Draghi will spearhead the company’s operations in the country, tasked with advancing commercial expansion, enhancing customer relationships, and deepening Akur8’s footprint in the Brazilian insurance market.
Having has previously held senior positions at prominent technology firms including Guidewire and IBM, Draghi brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry.
Draghi’s new role will see him leading Akur8’s strategic efforts in Brazil. His responsibilities will centre on local market growth, reinforcing relationships with Brazilian insurers, and aligning the company’s AI-powered solutions with domestic regulatory requirements.
Akur8 has already made significant inroads in Brazil, with major clients like Bradesco Seguros using its platform. The company highlights that its offering is built with local regulations in mind, helping insurers create more efficient, reliable, and transparent pricing strategies.
