NFP, an Aon company and global insurance brokerage and consulting firm, has acquired Bspoke Insurance Group, a UK-based platform of multi-class niche and specialist managing general agents, managing general underwriters and specialist insurance distributors.
Headquartered in Leeds, Bspoke also has offices in Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Essex, Liverpool and London. Following the acquisition, both companies will continue to operate independently, with Bspoke’s management team reporting to NFP Europe president Matt Pawley. All Bspoke businesses will retain their existing brands.
NFP Europe president Matt Pawley said, “I’m excited to welcome the talented team at Bspoke to NFP. With their industry experience, diverse range of specialist solutions and customer-centric approach, they’ve driven exceptional growth and client-retention. The Bspoke team will strengthen our existing suite of insurance solutions while expanding our technical underwriting expertise and specialist product knowledge.”
Bspoke was established in 2022 through the merger of the Precision Partnership Limited and UK General Insurance Group. The combined entity offers coverage across multiple sectors, including property, lifestyle, high-net-worth and transportation. It also provides brokers, affinity groups and schemes with flexible distribution options. Each of Bspoke’s businesses is centred on a specific product specialism and led by experienced underwriting teams with strong technical skills.
The group’s achievements include being named ‘MGA of the Year’ at the 2025 National Insurance Awards. This recognition reflects its rapid growth and ability to deliver tailored solutions to complex insurance needs.
Bspoke founder Tim Smyth said, “NFP offers Bspoke a fantastic opportunity to build on the platform we have developed over the past two years. With NFP’s support, we can drive strong organic growth, attract top talent and pursue further acquisition opportunities to sustain Bspoke as a leading niche and specialist player with a relentless focus on meeting dynamic client needs.”
This acquisition underscores NFP’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the UK specialist insurance sector, enhancing both its technical capabilities and access to niche markets. It also positions Bspoke for continued growth, with increased resources to pursue innovation and market expansion.
