The collaboration aims to transform how businesses manage money by offering reloadable prepaid cards that deliver seamless expense management, faster wage access, consumer rewards, and real-time disbursements, according to FF News.

The new prepaid card programmes are powered by Mastercard and fully managed by Zum Rails, covering onboarding, compliance, transaction processing, and customer support. Businesses can brand the reloadable cards with their own identity and fund them instantly through Zum Rails’ infrastructure.
The collaboration will also help businesses extend brand reach, strengthen customer loyalty, and unlock new product verticals. By leveraging Mastercard’s global network, Canadian businesses can offer modern payment solutions aligned with evolving customer needs.
The prepaid card offerings are designed for multiple use cases, including corporate expense management, near real-time employee or contractor payouts, and branded consumer experiences such as credit-building tools for underserved customers.
