Trawick International, a provider of international insurance, administration and assistance services, has joined forces with InsurTech Blink Parametric to launch Traveler Lounge Pass, a new travel benefit offering airport lounge access during flight delays.
The partnership aims to improve the travel insurance experience by providing real-time comfort solutions when disruptions occur, according to FF News.
Trawick International delivers a broad portfolio of insurance products, while Blink Parametric develops parametric solutions that automatically trigger benefits when travel is disrupted.
With Traveler Lounge Pass, customers who register flight details at least 24 hours before departure will receive a lounge pass via email or text if a delay of more than two hours is confirmed. The pass is valid for six months and requires no extra customer steps.
The benefit will be available through select Trawick International travel insurance plans and highlights the firms’ shared focus on data, automation and real-time service. CSC Global Partners supported the launch.
