Zuora, Inc., a leading monetisation offering for modern business, and HR platform Workday, Inc. have expanded their partnership to improve how business-to-consumer (B2C) firms manage complex billing and revenue streams.
The collaboration aims to address the growing complexity of revenue management as consumer expectations evolve and companies adopt new pricing models, according to FF News.
Together, Zuora’s order-to-cash automation and Workday’s financial management capabilities will help firms simplify operations, ensure compliance, and accelerate reporting.
Zuora specialises in monetisation solutions that enable businesses to manage subscription-based, usage-driven, and hybrid revenue models. Its intelligent billing engine helps companies streamline order-to-cash processes and optimise recurring revenue streams.
Workday provides cloud-based financial management and human capital management tools.
Its platform offers organisations a trusted financial backbone, enabling them to gain better insights, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance across complex financial landscapes.
As part of the partnership, the certified Zuora Connector for Workday Financial Management has been launched.
This connector acts as a specialised sub-ledger in Workday Accounting Center, automatically transferring monetisation records into Workday’s general ledger. This integration gives companies a single, unified view of financial performance, reducing manual data entry and strengthening the accuracy of financial processes.
“Today’s announcement highlights our continued commitment to Zuora and Workday customers, combining Workday’s trusted financial backbone with Zuora’s intelligent monetization engine to optimize the order-to-cash process,” Zuora chief operating and financial officer Todd McElhatton said. “Together, we’re empowering finance to be a stronger strategic partner to the business, armed with the unified view of financial data necessary to go to market even faster.”
Workday president and chief commercial officer Rob Enslin said, “Accuracy is a constant challenge for companies managing complex revenue streams. Our partnership with Zuora will provide customers with a single, reliable view of their financial data – making it easier to operate efficiently, no matter the business model.”
