Assurant has launched HOIVerify Origination, a new platform designed to automate insurance verification during mortgage loan origination.
The Fortune 500 global protection company said the solution will simplify a traditionally complex process through an API-enabled, data-driven approach.
Assurant Lending Solutions senior vice president Greg Tuttle said, “Assurant’s HOIVerify product suite modernizes the complex mortgage loan process.

With more than 40 years of experience monitoring insurance coverage, and deep carrier relationships providing access to a majority of U.S. homeowner policies, Assurant delivers the most comprehensive and frictionless experience for carriers, lenders, and borrowers.”
The tool is built into Assurant’s wider data exchange ecosystem, offering several features aimed at improving efficiency and compliance. These include real-time access to policy information for lenders, integration with multiple carriers, and automated processes that reduce manual effort while supporting regulatory requirements.
The new solution is already gaining traction in the market. One of the United States’ fastest-growing lenders, Spring EQ, has partnered with Assurant to pilot the platform.
