SmartSearch has partnered with T-Tech, a specialist technology consultancy serving the accountancy sector, to automate and enhance AML compliance.
The partnership combines SmartSearch’s advanced verification tools with T-Tech’s automation platform, Practice Gateway, to simplify client onboarding and compliance management for accountancy firms.
The collaboration aims to embed SmartSearch’s electronic AML verification technology directly within T-Tech’s Practice Gateway platform, delivering a seamless, automated workflow for professional services firms. By integrating these solutions, the two companies are helping accountants meet regulatory obligations faster and more accurately while reducing the burden of manual checks.
SmartSearch provides a triple-bureau AML verification solution powered by Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Its platform enables firms to perform real-time identity checks and AML screening in seconds, achieving pass rates of up to 97%. Meanwhile, T-Tech’s Practice Gateway is designed to automate and digitise the processes accountants rely on, including client onboarding, compliance, and workflow management. Together, their systems create a streamlined compliance environment that prioritises both accuracy and efficiency.
Through this integration, users of Practice Gateway can now access SmartSearch’s verification technology within a single, automated interface. This reduces manual data entry and improves audit readiness, helping firms stay compliant with evolving AML regulations without disrupting daily operations.
