Investing.com, a global provider of financial news, data and digital tools for retail investors, has launched a new AI chart analysis capability powered by its in-house Vision AI engine.
The firm, known for offering multi-asset market data and trading resources, said the addition strengthens its position as a leading platform for active traders, claims Finextra.
According to Investing.com, analysing charts can take traders hours of manual work. The new AI-driven functionality is designed to streamline this process, turning lengthy evaluations into short, actionable trading plans tailored for day traders and active market participants.
The platform offers financial information across global markets, including real-time pricing, charts, macroeconomic data, investment tools and educational resources. It serves millions of users worldwide accessing commodities, cryptocurrencies, forex, indices, ETFs and equities.
The AI chart analysis tool uses Vision AI to identify market formations such as candlestick patterns, support and resistance levels, trend shifts and breakouts. When users click ‘Analyse Chart’ on any supported instrument, the system filters through dozens of technical indicators to present only the most relevant ones. It then delivers a concise, professional summary outlining what is driving price behaviour.
Investing.com said the feature is compatible with almost every tradable asset class, including major US indices, regional stocks, commodities and cryptocurrencies. This broad coverage enables global users to apply the tool across their preferred markets.
The launch builds on the firm’s expanding use of artificial intelligence. Recent releases include WarrenAI, an AI-powered researcher, and ProPicks AI, a machine-learning strategy engine for stock selection.
Investing.com cto Yonatan Adest said, “We’ve given AI the eyes and reasoning of a seasoned trader, so it can recognize setups like breakouts or head-and-shoulders patterns, analyze multiple indicators across timeframes, and explain its reasoning in plain language. It’s like having a Wall Street analyst sitting beside you, only faster and always available.”
