Klarna and Zalando expand partnership to boost flexible payments in five new markets

BNPL giant Klarna has deepened its partnership with Zalando by launching its ‘Pay in 3’ option in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, and Denmark.

BNPL giant Klarna has deepened its partnership with Zalando by launching its ‘Pay in 3’ option in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, and Denmark.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance shopping flexibility for Zalando’s customers, building on last year’s successful launch of the ‘Pay in 3’ option in France, Italy, and Spain.

It will allow Zalando customers to split their payments into three interest-free instalments without upfront or additional costs.

It also caters to growing consumer preferences for flexible payment solutions, helping Zalando to enhance its customer experience.

The expansion supports Klarna’s mission to simplify payment experiences and Zalando’s dedication to providing seamless shopping journeys.

Klarna, serving over 85m active consumers and 600,000 merchants globally, specialises in innovative payment solutions that offer flexibility and convenience. It empowers consumers to shop smarter through features like interest-free instalments and seamless checkout options.

Zalando, which operates across 25 markets with more than 50m active customers, is a leader in online fashion and lifestyle retail. It offers a curated multi-brand platform that connects shoppers with leading and emerging fashion labels.

Klarna’s extensive network and ongoing partnerships with payment service providers, digital wallets, and global merchants ensure its payment solutions are readily accessible.

By integrating ‘Pay in 3’ into Zalando’s platform, both companies aim to address rising demand for conscious spending and shopping flexibility.
