AI-powered due diligence transformation by Zeidler

A global asset manager turned to Zeidler Group after recognising that its manual due diligence process was no longer fit for purpose.

The firm had been relying on Word documents and spreadsheets to manage questionnaires across multiple counterparties, which led to delays, inconsistent information, and limited oversight. With growing regulatory expectations and a wider network of vendors, the need for a digital approach became clear.

Zeidler Group implemented Zeidler Due Diligence (ZDD), an intelligent platform designed to centralise and automate due diligence activity. Instead of chasing responses manually, the client now uses a single dashboard for reviewing questionnaires, tracking deadlines and managing counterparties. Regulatory alignment with requirements including CP86 and CSSF Circular 18/698 is built into the system, helping compliance teams maintain structured oversight.

One of the major advantages highlighted by Zeidler Group is the platform’s AI-powered autofill tool. Using previously submitted data, ZDD automatically populates questionnaire responses, significantly reducing manual effort for both internal users and external delegates. The platform supports unlimited users, custom permissions and a risk scoring engine, allowing firms to assign roles, manage approvals and assess counterparties consistently.

The client reported faster turnaround times, improved collaboration between teams, and a clear reduction in repetitive manual work. With a central repository for all documents and communication, the risk of missed updates or lost information has decreased considerably. Zeidler Group notes that more than 2,000 counterparties have already been onboarded globally through ZDD, illustrating its scalability and reliability.
