Sage Capital Management launches integrated private banking for digital assets

Sage Capital Management has announced the launch of a new private banking service for institutional clients.

The launch represents a significant expansion of the company’s offering, enabling institutional digital asset professionals to manage fiat and digital asset activity within a single operating environment.

Alongside the banking service, Sage Capital Management has also introduced a proprietary unified trading platform that brings together liquidity, execution, risk management and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).

With the expanded platform, the firm can now support hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, brokers, corporate treasuries and digital asset treasuries through one regulated counterparty. Clients are able to connect banking, markets access, capital and technology, providing the infrastructure required to move, trade and manage digital assets globally without the need to coordinate multiple providers.

The new integrated financial network is built around four core pillars designed to work independently or as a combined solution. The first is banking, which launches with named, multi-currency accounts held under a client’s legal entity. These accounts provide access to UK Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT and more than 140 global currencies, and are integrated with Tier 1 bank payment rails. Clients can also access physical and virtual corporate Mastercard debit cards and manage payments and foreign exchange directly alongside digital asset activity.

A key component of the banking service is the Embedded COO™, a senior operational specialist assigned to each client. This role is designed to act as an extension of the client’s business, providing operational support rather than simply access to an account.

Markets access forms the second pillar, offering unified entry to global spot, derivatives and OTC liquidity through a single regulated counterparty. The service includes real-time settlement, unified risk and non-internalised execution across more than 40 global venues.

The third pillar, the capital engine, provides centralised access to portfolio margin, institutional credit and structured financing. Collateral is deployed once across the network, supported by a multi-provider capital architecture that dynamically routes credit to improve efficiency.

The final pillar is the Sage Platform, a proprietary trading system that enables multi-venue and multi-product trading via an aggregated order book, advanced algorithms and customisable institutional workspaces.

Sage Capital Management CEO Nathan Sage said, “Today we are announcing an unrivalled offering that addresses significant pain points for institutional clients such as fragmentation and operational friction. We have created a single environment, with unified onboarding, which connects every part of the financial workflow for institutional digital asset clients, reducing operational risk, speeding up the movement of funds, minimising counterparty exposure, and enhancing capital efficiency.

Nathan Sage added, “Our new offering sets us apart from competitors, with one integrated financial network, powered by a unified technology platform and engineered for institutional scale. We are giving institutions the ability to operate end-to-end – across banking, liquidity, capital, and technology – without friction, and are ultimately making institutional participation in digital assets more accessible than ever.”
