High Risk Education has launched the HRE FinTech Training Center, an on-demand education and resource platform designed to support fintech companies and their sponsor bank partners navigating rising regulatory pressure and operational demands.
The new platform comes as fintech firms and their banking counterparts face increasing scrutiny from regulators, alongside growing complexity in bank-fintech operating models. According to HRE, many teams struggle not because they disregard rules, but because regulatory expectations and partner-bank requirements are often unclear in real-world fintech environments.
The Fintech Training Center has been created to bridge this gap, translating supervisory and partner expectations into practical, defensible execution frameworks.
High Risk Education works with fintech founders, executive teams and compliance professionals to strengthen governance, risk management and bank partnership structures. Drawing on years of frontline experience across fintech and banking ecosystems, the company focuses on helping firms align their operations with regulatory standards while preserving growth and innovation. Its work spans areas such as oversight frameworks, compliance programme design and operational resilience.
The Fintech Training Center delivers practitioner-led content across four structured learning tracks: board-level training; management and practitioner training; annual training for fintech employees; and sponsor bank training.
The curriculum covers governance and fiduciary oversight, partner-bank and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) oversight, AML and fraud controls, payments risk, operational resilience, product governance, AI and data risk, regulatory exam readiness, leadership alignment and scaling controls without introducing systemic weaknesses.
Beyond structured learning modules, members gain access to downloadable operating tools and templates aimed at supporting day-to-day compliance execution. The platform also includes “Ask the Fintech Life Coach”, a feature connecting teams with experienced industry practitioners for tailored, real-world guidance grounded in operational fintech experience.
HRE said the objective is to help firms move beyond high-level regulatory theory and instead build programmes that are defensible in examinations, resilient in practice and sustainable as they scale. The training centre is positioned as a proactive solution to prevent minor control gaps from escalating into supervisory findings, enforcement actions or strained bank relationships.
High Risk Education CEO & Co-Founder Justin Muscolino said, “Fintech teams don’t need more theory, they need more clarity on how regulators and bank partners expect them to operate. The Fintech Training Center was built to help teams build defensible programs, strengthen partnerships, and avoid issues before they become findings, enforcement actions, or broken relationships.”
