Prometeia expands wealth and asset management push in Spain

Financial analytics firm Prometeia is deepening its footprint in the Spanish market, targeting the country’s rapidly growing wealth and asset management sector with a suite of data, automation, and artificial intelligence-driven solutions.

Spain’s wealth and asset management industry has seen considerable momentum in recent years, with investment advice and discretionary portfolio management revenues on the rise, and investment fund assets reaching record highs, Prometeia said. The expansion has driven demand for more scalable workflows, stronger data-driven decision-making, and greater consistency in client experience — areas where Prometeia believes it can deliver meaningful impact.

The firm’s value proposition in Spain is built around three interconnected layers: reliable data and analytics, end-to-end workflows, and compliance-by-design capabilities aligned with both EU and local regulations. Prometeia says it supports Spanish financial institutions across the full wealth and asset management value chain, combining sector expertise with integrated digital solutions.

Central to its Spanish offering are two complementary platforms. The first, its Digital Wealth Management Platform, is designed to help banks and advisory networks deliver personalised, fully compliant advisory services at scale. The modular platform integrates advisory workflows, portfolio construction, risk profiling, and client engagement tools, and is built to adapt to a range of strategies, client segments, and distribution models.

The second platform, Asset Management Insights (AMI), is a SaaS market intelligence tool aimed at asset managers, distributors, and fund selectors. By combining data from leading providers with proprietary analytics and environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics, AMI supports market analysis, benchmarking, fundraising monitoring, and strategic decision-making across institutional, retail, and private markets.

Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly central role in the firm’s advisory proposition. Speaking at the Madrid Investor Networking Day (MIND), Prometeia associate partner Martin Skup highlighted that the firm’s solutions are grounded in quantitative and academic foundations developed over more than 50 years. He noted that generative AI in particular is enhancing the usability of advisory workflows — supporting portfolio storytelling, proposal creation, and opportunity identification — freeing advisors to focus on higher-value client interactions.

Prometeia said it is actively investing in the Spanish market to improve advisory effectiveness, strengthen investment fund intelligence and benchmarking, boost operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance, as Spanish financial intermediaries increasingly seek solutions combining technology, data, and domain expertise.

Looking ahead, Prometeia plans to deepen its engagement with the Spanish wealth and asset management community throughout 2026, with a series of dedicated roundtables, co-hosted workshops, and hands-on demonstrations covering advisory workflow acceleration and analytics-driven fund and portfolio intelligence.
