Broadridge invests in CENTRL to boost AI due diligence

Broadridge Financial Solutions, a global FinTech firm and S&P 500 constituent listed on the NYSE, has announced a strategic partnership and minority stake in CENTRL, an AI-powered due diligence platform serving financial institutions.

The collaboration will see Broadridge weave CENTRL’s workflow automation and AI capabilities into products designed for asset managers, retirement recordkeepers and retirement advisors. Central to the deal is the modernisation of Broadridge’s Fi360 RFP Director, the embedding of Broadridge data into CENTRL’s existing workflows, and broader access to tools that automate counterparty oversight and RFP response processes.

By combining Broadridge’s market infrastructure and data capabilities with CENTRL’s AI-driven platform, the two companies aim to cut down on manual touchpoints, remove redundant data collection, improve accuracy and build stronger regulatory audit trails.

Broadridge’s data and analytics division focuses on converting complex datasets into actionable intelligence across the asset management lifecycle, covering areas such as distribution, investor behaviour and operational performance. Adding CENTRL’s due diligence technology extends that remit, connecting data, workflows and automation to help clients manage counterparty oversight and RFP processes more efficiently. Broadridge clients will also gain access to CENTRL’s due diligence management and response platforms, including deeper integration with Broadridge’s distribution data and analytics offering.

Broadridge Data-Driven Fund Solutions president Dan Cwenar said, “This partnership represents an important step in expanding our AI-enabled capabilities and delivering greater value for clients across our platform. By combining Broadridge’s deep industry relationships and data assets with CENTRL’s purpose-built AI technology, we are helping clients modernize due diligence and RFP response workflows, improve operational efficiency and better manage risk, and accumulate more assets.”

CENTRL founder and chief executive officer Sanjeev Dheer said, “Broadridge is a trusted partner to many of the world’s leading financial institutions.

“Together, we are bringing AI-driven intelligent automation to some of the industry’s most complex and resource-intensive processes. By embedding AI directly into due diligence, research, and DDQ/RFP response and communication workflows, we can help firms move from manual, fragmented processes to streamlined, data-driven operations.”
