Guidewire, an insurance technology provider, has launched ProNavigator, an AI assistant embedded within its core platforms InsuranceSuite and InsuranceNow to support property and casualty insurers.
The assistant, introduced as part of Guidewire’s latest Palisades release, is designed to provide role-specific insights for underwriting, claims, billing and customer service teams.
By embedding AI directly into operational workflows, ProNavigator aims to help insurance professionals access accurate information more quickly and make more confident decisions.
The tool enables insurers to scale internal expertise by providing context-aware responses grounded in the organisation’s own source material, including policy documentation and operational guidelines.
The system also incorporates role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure only authorised users can access specific documents or datasets, supporting strict governance and security requirements.
In addition, ProNavigator provides audit trails and human-in-the-loop oversight, enabling insurers to maintain transparency and control over AI-supported decision-making.
Amy Mollin, Vice President of Product Management at Guidewire, said, “ProNavigator gives insurance professionals exactly the right information, right when they need it.
By embedding it directly into InsuranceSuite and InsuranceNow, we’re enabling frontline teams to quickly access accurate answers and confidently make better decisions. It’s AI that just works, helping insurers move smoothly from evaluating AI to successfully adopting it in everyday operations.”
Alongside ProNavigator, the Palisades release introduces several additional capabilities aimed at improving operational efficiency across insurance workflows.
New features allow developers to integrate their preferred AI tools to create digital experiences using Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
The update also enhances financial accuracy through improved payment and refund reconciliation capabilities, including detailed funds tracking and audit trails for finance teams.
For the London Market, the release includes a redesigned claims adjuster experience to support electronic claims exchanges between brokers, bureaus and insurers.
Other updates provide improved tools for workers’ compensation claims management, offering predictive insights into litigation risks and claims outcomes.
In addition, pricing teams can now access real-time pricing and quoting capabilities through PricingCenter, which is now integrated into PolicyCenter for personal and high-volume commercial lines.
The new capabilities are designed to help insurers accelerate digital innovation while maintaining governance and operational control across core insurance processes.
