How Legit and Sweet are uniting AppSec and cloud runtime

Legit Security, the agentic application security platform, and Sweet Security, a cloud runtime security specialist, have joined forces to offer organisations continuous protection across the entire AI-driven software development lifecycle — from the moment code is written through to live cloud deployment.

The partnership brings together Legit’s VibeGuard solution — designed to secure AI-generated code, agents, and workflows at the point of creation — with Sweet’s runtime cloud security platform. Together, the integrated offering allows organisations to manage risk continuously across development and production environments rather than treating them as separate concerns.

The collaboration addresses a growing challenge in how organisations approach security as AI accelerates the pace of software development. AI-generated applications are expanding the attack surface, and risk does not terminate at the code level; it continues to evolve once applications reach production, where autonomous agents and dynamic execution introduce difficult-to-predict behaviours. The two firms argue that the prevailing practice of managing application security and cloud security in silos leaves exploitable gaps — gaps their combined offering is designed to close.

Among the joint capabilities the partnership enables are the ability to correlate application-level findings with runtime exposure — helping security teams focus on genuinely exploitable vulnerabilities, such as a hardcoded API credential creating a direct path from code to runtime — as well as the detection of anomalous behaviour in live cloud environments and end-to-end visibility spanning the integrated development environment (IDE) through to runtime.

Legit Security describes itself as the leader in agentic application security, offering a platform — including the VibeGuard solution — that secures AI-generated code, agents, and workflows at creation time, before they enter production. Sweet Security positions itself as a leader in security for the AI era, providing runtime visibility and protection for deployed cloud applications.

Legit Security co-founder and CEO Roni Fuchs said, “The partnership between Legit and Sweet provides customers the unique ability to understand and mitigate risk from the moment a developer, human or AI, writes a line of code all the way to the cloud. With this level of visibility and control, customers can ensure their applications are secure across the entire software lifecycle from code to runtime.”

Sweet Security co-founder and CEO Dror Kashi said, “As AI transforms how software is built and behaves in production, security can no longer be split between code and runtime. Partnering with Legit brings these two layers – and the steps between them – together, giving customers continuous visibility and security coverage from the moment code is written through production.”
