Bradesco taps dacadoo to expand digital health engagement

Swiss HealthTech dacadoo has partnered with Brazilian insurer Bradesco Vida e Previdência to launch a digital health engagement platform designed to enhance customer wellness and foster long-term policyholder engagement.

Swiss HealthTech dacadoo has partnered with Brazilian insurer Bradesco Vida e Previdência to launch a digital health engagement platform designed to enhance customer wellness and foster long-term policyholder engagement.

The Zurich-based firm will power Viva Longevidade, a white-label version of its Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP), tailored for the Brazilian market and delivered in Brazilian Portuguese.

The partnership reflects growing demand among insurers for preventative health and wellness platforms as carriers increasingly look to improve customer retention, increase engagement and reduce long-term health risks through digital services.

The move continues the relationship between the firms which began in 2022 when Bradesco Vida e Previdência piloted dacadoo’s platform internally among employees. The trial generated strong engagement and positive behavioural outcomes, leading the insurer to expand the platform to its wider customer base.

Bradesco Vida e Previdência, part of Bradesco Seguros Group, is now using the platform as part of its broader digital transformation and customer engagement strategy.

The agreement also marks another expansion milestone for dacadoo in Latin America, where insurers are increasingly investing in digital health and preventative care technologies to differentiate customer experiences and encourage healthier behaviour at scale.

dacadoo has continued expanding internationally as insurers increasingly adopt wellness-focused engagement platforms that combine AI, behavioural analytics and preventative health services within digital insurance ecosystems.

dacadoo CEO and founder Peter Ohnemus said, “We are very proud to partner with Bradesco Vida e Previdência, part of the Bradesco Seguros Group, one of the leading insurance groups in Latin America, to bring our digital health engagement platform to millions of people in Brazil.

“This collaboration reinforces our mission to make the world a healthier place and shows how our technology can support insurers in driving engagement, loyalty, and better health outcomes.”

Bradesco Vida e Previdência CEO Bernardo Castello said, “We are constantly seeking innovative solutions to add value to our customers’ experience. The partnership with dacadoo allows us to offer a robust and personalised continuous care platform that encourages healthier habits and strengthens long-term relationships with our policyholders.”
