Peel Mutual Insurance Company, an Ontario-based mutual insurer and member of the Ontario Mutual Insurance Association, has selected Guidewire Cloud as part of a broader push to accelerate AI-driven automation and modernise its core operations.
The Canadian insurer will roll out the Guidewire Cloud platform across all its lines of business, with implementation support provided by NXT Level Technologies, a consulting select member of the Guidewire PartnerConnect programme.
The platform is intended to give Peel Mutual the infrastructure to introduce and expand artificial intelligence capabilities over time, with expected benefits including more personalised policyholder experiences, proactive risk management and more efficient claims processing.
The insurer has also recently adopted Guidewire’s embedded intelligent AI assistant, a built-in tool that draws on an insurer’s internal knowledge base alongside core system context to provide insurance-specific guidance, suggestions and actions for knowledge workers within their day-to-day operations.
Alongside these AI capabilities, Peel Mutual will deploy integrated data analytics tools that use curated datasets to surface insights more rapidly, giving teams a clearer picture of current operational and financial conditions.
