Ageas UK, a personal lines insurer, has joined the motor insurance panel of Wrisk, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) InsurTech specialist, in a new strategic partnership aimed at delivering embedded motor insurance through automotive manufacturers.
The collaboration will see Ageas’s underwriting capability paired with Wrisk’s technology platform to create a scalable B2B2C distribution channel, allowing the two firms to jointly offer insurance products tailored to customers purchasing modern vehicles.
Central to the arrangement is Wrisk’s platform, which ingests real-time data from OEM sources and draws on vehicle-specific data points to improve pricing accuracy and risk selection, with the goal of ensuring customers receive cover suited to their individual circumstances.
Founded in 2015, Wrisk provides a bespoke technology platform built to deliver more personalised motor insurance experiences on behalf of vehicle manufacturers, operating a distribution model deeply integrated with the automotive sector.
