Interchecks, an instant payments platform serving sportsbooks, FinTech firms and financial institutions, has closed a $50m Series C funding round and launched a new account funding product aimed at eliminating deposit friction for digital finance businesses.
The round was led by Bettor Capital, Commerce Ventures, Decades Holdings and Thayer Street Partners. Alongside the capital raise, the company announced the general availability of Account Funding Transactions (AFT), a product that allows businesses to fund eligible accounts via debit credentials, with processing built to support fast and secure funding experiences. The launch rounds out Interchecks’ platform to cover the complete lifecycle of money movement for its clients.
AFT targets one of the more persistent pain points in digital finance, namely the challenge of accepting deposits quickly while keeping risk in check. Using debit card rails, the product enables real-time account funding and incorporates layered fraud protections directly into the transaction flow. It has been designed for use cases including account-to-account transfers, neobank, neobrokerage and crypto wallet funding. AFT sits alongside Interchecks’ existing Pay-by-Bank solution on a single RESTful API, meaning clients can offer multiple deposit methods through one integration rather than several.
Built-in risk controls include account verification, real-time duplicate card detection, customisable velocity limits benchmarked to industry standards, and proactive suspicious activity monitoring, all intended to reduce chargeback exposure ahead of funds moving.
Interchecks has processed in excess of $50bn in transactions across its decade of operation, delivered triple-digit net revenue growth year-on-year for seven consecutive years, and has been profitable since 2023. The company holds PCI Level 1 Service Provider certification and SOC 2 Type 2 certification, and operates across major global networks including Visa and Mastercard.
Interchecks co-founder and CEO Dylan Massey said, “Since we founded Interchecks a decade ago, our goal has been simple: make money move faster, more safely, and with more control than anyone thought possible. This raise lets us go deeper on the technology and the team, and AFT is a direct expression of what we’ve been building toward.”
