Penfold, a digital workplace pension provider, has struck a partnership with employee benefits and rewards platform Perkbox that will see pensions embedded within a wider benefits package for employers.
The tie-up combines Penfold’s pension technology with Perkbox’s rewards and wellbeing app, giving businesses the ability to present retirement saving alongside the perks they already provide to staff.
Perkbox operates globally, uniting perks, rewards and wellbeing tools in one application for companies and their workforces. In 2025, the platform helped employees save £27,788,775 through discounts and benefits, and it has supported four million workers around the world. Over 7,500 organisations currently use the platform.
The partnership arrives against a backdrop of shifting employee priorities. Research carried out by Penfold revealed that a workplace pension carries more weight with UK workers when weighing up a prospective employer than flexible working arrangements, bonus schemes, healthcare cover or lifestyle perks.
Founded in 2018, Penfold aims to make saving for retirement effortless, pairing modern technology with award-winning support to give savers control and clarity over their futures.
Perkbox head of financial wellbeing Natalie Jutla said, “Pensions shouldn’t feel out of reach. We wanted to partner with someone who makes this simpler for both employers and employees. This gives our customers real choice and the tools to engage with their financial future on their own terms.”
Penfold CEO Chris Eastwood said, “We are excited to have joined forces with Perkbox to champion our digital workplace pension. Perkbox has built an excellent platform that supports millions of employees, and we are committed to helping them further by providing a workplace pensions offering that prioritises their financial wellbeing.
