Can AI fix endpoint security? Glow bets $180m it can

Glow

Glow, an AI-powered endpoint security company built around a prevention-first model, has come out of stealth with $180m in funding and a valuation of $1.2bn.

Sequoia, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint Ventures co-led the round, joined by Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective and Holly Ventures. The capital is earmarked for scaling the company’s go-to-market operation in the US and building out Glow Labs, its dedicated research unit.

The company’s argument is that AI has fundamentally altered the endpoint, which has become the entry point for AI into the enterprise as staff take up new tools and connect agents more quickly than security teams can vet them.

Regular AI usage on corporate devices, whether sanctioned or not, has jumped from 15% to 45% within a single year. Glow contends that AI has also made longstanding weaknesses more dangerous, since security teams must now assume adversaries wield advanced AI capabilities able to exploit tolerated risks at machine speed, and that legacy tooling was never built for this shift. Its answer is a security model that stops risk before it reaches the enterprise rather than responding once it has appeared.

Glow’s platform hands security teams oversight of everything running on the endpoint. A set of specialised AI agents maps the environment continuously, weighs risk in real time and applies policies automatically, determining which software can enter and which must be stripped out, without holding back the business.

A context and reasoning engine underpins this, making prevention adaptive and shrinking the endpoint attack surface so employees can embrace AI safely.

The founding team pairs CEO and co-founder Roi Tiger, who spent nine years at Meta and latterly served as its VP of Engineering, with CTO and co-founder Omer Singer, previously Snowflake’s head of cybersecurity strategy, and VP of R&D and co-founder Ophir Arie, formerly VP R&D at Claroty.

Chief product officer Arnon Joseph adds eight years at Meta as senior director of product, while chief operating officer Emily Heath previously held CISO roles at United Airlines and DocuSign, sat on the board of Wiz through its $32bn acquisition by Google and was a partner at Cyberstarts. Since launching, Glow has won enterprise customers across healthcare, retail and financial services.

Glow CEO Roi Tiger said, “Prevention was always the right answer in security. It just never worked at enterprise scale without blocking the business. AI solves that. The moment we saw what AI made possible, we knew the endpoint could finally be protected the way it always should have been.”

Glow COO Emily Heath added, “I sat in the CISO seat for a long time, and I can tell you the tools available to us were never built for what enterprises face today. Every enterprise wants to move faster with AI. The question isn’t whether they’ll adopt it—it’s whether security can keep up. That’s the challenge Glow is solving.”
